Kazimba is building the first developer-first augmented video platform.  It is designed to build interactive and gamified video experiences around existing video streaming and chat services, such as AWS Interactive Video Service and Zoom VideoSDK.

This involves customizable interactivity widgets that can be embedded into both the creator and participant apps.

The Kazimba team built Tribe - a fitness B2B SaaS product for local studios and gyms to create more compelling and sticky video experiences for their members in online classes.  Tribe has leveraged AWS IVS, AWS Chime, ANT Media WebRTC and Zoom VideoSDK.

In building Tribe, Justin and Irfan recognized that a lot of the features being built were not specific to fitness - they were relevant to gaming, influencer-led shopping, education, healthcare, entertainment, and other use cases.
As a developer-first company,  Kazimba is actively contributing to open source.  We recently did a comparison of AI services from Google and AWS to automatically discover usable cover images from recorded videos, and we published the blog here.  Our team also frequently blogs on various topics related to technology and media streaming.  We have plans in the multi-cam hardware space - more to come.
